David Lynch presents Jess.

Interview Project, the latest web experiment from David Lynch, launches today, a "121 part documentary series" made up of three and a half minute interviews with different subjects around the country. Lynch's son Austin and Jason S. led a team of filmmakers who plucked up subjects who, one assumes, just looked like they'd have interesting things to say.
The first interviewee, Jess, is a leathery 64-year-old they found in Needles, CA (a town I'll forever associate with Snoopy's brother Spike) who tell us "I ain't proud of anything except just being alive."

This is how I did my recent docu/drama interviewing the homeless in London and Harlem. A great way to get reality from characters. See BILLY & LILLY GO TO NEW YORK: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AeS5fV-ygt0&feature=channel_page (STRONG LANGUAGE)

could you please explain why, for devil's rejects, the credits were rejected in favor of an ad? or why that ad was on screen for the entire movie? dont you have any respect for movies, or for you product? i posted here cause contact us, and about ifc and newsletter and privacy policy and all the others werent operable.
so thanks.
Interesting concept. Kind of like Borat, but with a serious tone. I'd like to do something like that in my small town, as we have some characters here.
