The Cannes Cam lives!

It lives! In fact, it lives here.
Yes, for the duration of Cannes this webcam will provide a live feed of the red carpet. Of course, as the festival hasn't started yet, all you can see right now are the dimly lit silhouettes of a few palm trees and the occasional backs of heads of persons unfamous. But tomorrow, yes, tomorrow, will be the opening ceremonies and the "Da Vinci Code" premiere — plenty of opportunities to see the backs of the heads of the rich and famous.
For the meantime, may we suggest you turn up your speakers and just enjoy the ambient French traffic sounds. Ah, magnifique!
