Free Album? How 'Bout an Entrie Back Catalog for Free?

If only I knew this years earlier. If only I knew this before I labored over the tedious task of sticking CD's into my computer and converting them into MP3 files. And if I only I knew this before I had to transfer said MP3 files onto my iPod (insert wiping of the brow here).

This week No Doubt officially announced that not only will they be touring this summer (yey!), but they will also be giving away their entire digital back-catalog for FREE.

Sound too good to be true? There is a slight catch. To receive every No Doubt song ever recorded you have to buy a top-tier ticket to one of No Doubt's concert stops this summer. Top-tier tickets are those priced over $42.50 (that's before all of those questionable surcharges and convenience fees). People in the lawn, sorry, this doesn't include you.

Thirty days before the day of the show fans will receive a digital download code, which will be valid until 30 days after No Doubt finish their tour .

Guitarist, Tom Dumont, said the band wanted to do this so everyone could start listening to No Doubt's music again and to get them psyched and ready for the live show. No Doubt have not toured in six years.
