What Do These Guys Have In Common?

What do Taylor Hawkins (Foo Fighters), music video director, Samuel Bayer, Lupe Fiasco, and Billie Joe Armstrong (Green Day) all have in common?

At some point today they will be blowing out candles, followed by eating a slice of birthday cake.

Hawkins and Armstrong turn 37, while Fiasco is 10 years their junior and Bayer, 10 years their senior.

The closest connection out of the batch of birthday boys is Bayer and Armstrong. Bayer directed all the music videos off of Green Day's American Idiot album. If you wanna play the six-degrees-of-separation game, Bayer directed Nirvana's "Smell's Like Teen Spirit," which featured Hawkins' future bandleader, Dave Grohl.
