Sunday
Like they did for Super Bowl XL (2006), the Pittsburgh Steelers take the field to the sounds of Fatboy Slim's "Right Here Right Now" at Super Bowl XLIII. Must be a good luck charm, cause they won again. Bruce Springsteen also manages to squeeze three hours of energy into a 12-minute, 4-song Super Bowl halftime set.

Monday
Groudhog Phil sees his shadow, six more weeks of winter (sigh).
The Beastie Boys announce they'll be playing Bonnaroo this year and make available free track-by-track commentary for the 20th Anniversary re-issue of Paul's Boutique. As expected, little info is given about the album, as the Beasties riff on mesh shirts and eggs.
Tuesday
Fatboy Slim (Norman Cook) hopes the Steelers return the favor of luck as he releases his latest project, The BPA's I Think We're Gonna Need a Bigger Boat.
Etta James disses Beyonce (who not only portrays her in the film Cadillac Records, but also sang her signature tune, "At Last," at President Obama's Inaguration). Bloggers drool from all the good material.
Wednesday
Lead singer of The Cramps, Lux Interior, dies of a pre-existing heart condition. He was 62 years old.
Saturday
TV On The Radio performs live on SNL.
Sunday
51st Grammy Awards.
