...was Lou Reed kind of an asshole in his most recent interview for SPIN magazine?

It's not always easy being the one who has to ask questions, especially to someone who's heard them all. (Gotta stick up for a fellow interviewer every once in a while, you know?)

I like the Velvet Underground and I think Lou Reed is a brilliant poet. That being said, what the hell was up his ass. Did he expect to be asked certain questions? It just seemed like he felt like he did the interview to bitch at somebody and get a free artichoke salad. Musicians love free salad!
Why do these guys even agree to do the interviews in the first place? Wonder if he would've treated Kurt Loder like this?
Good point, musicians do love free salads:)
