All Hail The Mighty Klosterman

Author, writer, columnist, talking-head, and wordsmith Chuck Klosterman recently did a guest album review for The Onion's AV Club. What album did he critique? Only the one rock fans have been waiting 15 long years to hear. As expected, Klosterman's review cracked me up two sentences into my read. Enjoy!

Thanks for the heads up on the review -- never would have found it otherwise! It's a totally fitting review for such an album and has piqued my previously absent interest in hearing the album. I think you should review Klosterman's review of the album! Anyway...the standout section for me was this:

But sometimes Chinese Democracy suffers from the same inescapable problem that paralyzed proto-epics like "Estranged" and "November Rain": It's as if Axl is desperately trying to get some unmakeable dream song from inside his skull onto the CD, and the result is an overstuffed maelstrom that makes all the punk dolts scoff. His ambition is noble, yet wildly unrealistic.
