While watching the Major League Baseball Playoffs unfold, I can't help but think of Cat Power every time Chicago Cubs' pitcher Sean Marshall's name is mentioned.
Why?
Though spelled differently (Chan Marshall), Cat Power shares the same first and last name pronunciation as the Cubs' hurler. As you'll see below, that's about the only thing these two [shawn] Marshalls have in common:

Sean: Richmond, VA
Chan: Atlanta, GA

Chan: Indie Singer/Songwriter
WEAPON OF CHOICE:

IF THINGS GO BADLY, COULD:
Sean: Give up walk-off homerun
Chan: Walk off stage
CURRENT HOME:

HAS WORKED WITH:
Sean: Lou Pinella, Derek Lee, Alfonso Soriano
Chan: Eddie Vedder, Dave Grohl, M. Ward
