SUPER TUESDAY: New Album Releases (May 13)

Death Cab For Cutie, Narrow Stairs (left)
Another consistently good effort, would you expect anything less from Ben Gibbard and crew?

Duffy, Rock Ferry
She's gonna have a hard time breaking free from the Amy Winehouse comparisons. At least her hair's a different color.

We Are Scientists, Brain Thrust Mastery
A lot of these songs feel like they could be used for an ending to an 80's movie. Still one of the funniest acts in music today.

Bryan Adams, 11
Guess how many songs are on this album?

Old 97's, Blame It on Gravity
Bright, clean, and chuggy. Those are the first three words that came to mind when I listened to this album.

Dokken, Lightning Strikes Again
Some say it doesn't strike more than once, Dokken would disagree.

Local H, 12 Angry Months
Nirvana-esque, two-man, powerhouse band from Chicago return.

Filter, Anthems For the Damned
Maybe it's just the 90's kid in me, but every time I see Filter frontman Richard Patrick, I still think of him as the shaven-head guitar player in NIN.

If I missed anything good, please let me know. Album release dates get tricky sometimes (especially with different digital release schedules, UK/U.S. dates, and whatnot). Thanks!
