Even though I just found out that Katie White and Jules De Martino, the duo known as the Ting Tings, had ties in teen pop groups earlier in their career, I still think they're as catchy sin (not saying "sin" is right, but it is catchy if you know what I mean).

For any loyal Indie Ear readers, add another duo to my favorite groups of 2008 list (see also: The Kills, The Black Keys, The Bird and The Bee, and the Cool Kids).

Note: You may remember the Ting Tings from our Indie Ear Madness tournament held earlier in the year. They were a #16 seed who got beat by #1 seed Radiohead. Hey, you gotta start somewhere, right?
