The first look at the new “The Amazing Spider-Man 2″ suit has arrived, and Andrew Garfield’s new digs look great. With bigger eyes and a similarly svelte look, Spider-Man looks as cool as ever.

Coming Soon has debuted the first look, and comments that this is as close as any of the “Spider-Man” movies have come to matching the character’s design in the comics. What do you think?

“The Amazing Spider-Man 2″ stars Andrew Garfield, Jamie Foxx, Dane DeHaan, Colm Feore, Felicity Jones, Paul Giamatti and Sally Field. Foxx is playing Electro, DeHaan is Harry Osborn and Woodley is Mary Jane Watson. Here’s the official synopsis:

In “The Amazing Spider-Man 2,” for Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield), life is busy – between taking out the bad guys as Spider-Man and spending time with the person he loves, Gwen (Emma Stone), high school graduation can’t come quickly enough. Peter hasn’t forgotten about the promise he made to Gwen’s father to protect her by staying away – but that’s a promise he just can’t keep. Things will change for Peter when a new villain, Electro (Jamie Foxx), emerges, an old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, and Peter uncovers new clues about his past.

We’re barely halfway through February, but this year’s Too Many Cooks Award for the most bizarre comedy project is already a lock. Blindsiding the world with greatness without any warning, Funny or Die released a 50-minute Donald Trump parody starring an unrecognizable Johnny Depp as Donny.

Ron Howard introduces this “lost” 1988 TV movie adaptation of Trump’s how-to manual The Art of the Deal produced with the retro quality of a Wendy’s training video. Along for the big hair and shoulder pads flashback are Patton Oswalt, Alfred Molina, Todd Margaret‘s Jack McBrayer, Andy Richter, Rob Huebel, Jason Mantzoukas, Paul Scheer, and Michaela Watkins as Ivana — as well as many Reagan-era surprises like a cameo from that loveable cat eater ALF and a theme song by Kenny Loggins.

Much like Eric Jonrosh of The Spoils Before Dying and The Spoils of Babylon fame, “Trump” writes, directs, and narrates his own epic tale of real estate wheelings-and-dealings. Check out the trailer below, and head over to Funny or Die to watch the full Donald Trump’s The Art of the Deal movie before the real Donald sics his army of lawyers on Will Ferrell and company. (For more bizarro Johnny Depp characters, be sure to catch Charlie and the Chocolate Factory this month on IFC.)

Though we still don’t know who she’ll be playing in the movie, Felicity Jones has confirmed her involvement in “The Amazing Spider-Man 2.”

During an interview with RTL Netherlands (via ComicBookMovie.com), Jones shared the news that wasn’t revealed in the “Amazing Spider-Man 2″ press release: She is going to be in the flick. “I’ve never done a superhero movie. It’s very nice to you as an actor in several worlds to go and to experiment,” she told the site. It’s not much to go on, so she’ll likely only have a small role, but it’s nice to see the “Like Crazy” actress making a foray into blockbuster projects.

Jones’ potential involvement was revealed around the same time it was teased that Paul Giamatti would play The Rhino. He is also confirmed for “The Amazing Spider-Man 2,” meaning the flick has at least two villains (Electro and The Rhino) and also three major actresses (Emma Stone, Shailene Woodley and Jones). Color us intrigued.

In addition, the flick officially stars Andrew Garfield, Jamie Foxx, Dane DeHaan, Colm Feore and Sally Field.

Electro and Rhino are confirmed villains for “The Amazing Spider-Man 2,” but could it be that Marc Webb is slipping a third baddie in there as well? The director posted a picture to his Twitter account that started speculation that Venom will be a character in the upcoming movie.

Coming Soon pointed out that the photo Webb posted, as seen above, is very similar to a frame in “Ultimate Spider-Man” that shows Peter Parker discovering the Venom experiment. There’s even the same number on the door. Webb also tweeted “#happybirthday,” and this year is the 25th anniversary of Venom.

Meanwhile, Crave notes that February 6 is also the birthday of star Dane DeHaan, and speculates that this could mean that DeHaan is playing the new Venom. Thus far it’s only been confirmed that he is portraying Harry Osborn. Of course, Webb’s tweet could have nothing to do with any of these theories, but it is worth nothing that DeHaan’s “Chronicle” director Josh Trank is supposed to be working on a “Venom” standalone movie.

“The Amazing Spider-Man 2″ stars Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Jamie Foxx, Shailene Woodley, Dane DeHaan, Colm Feore, Paul Giamatti, and Sally Field. It’s due in theaters on May 2, 2014.
