After hearing that “Thor: The Dark World” would film in the U.K.’s Bourne Wood about a month ago, we’re finally seeing some of the first set images from that area.
A SuperHeroHype fan sent the outlet some spoiler-free images from the Bourne Wood area that show the beginnings of a set being built. We can’t tell much about what the sets are for from these pictures, but at least they look nice.
“‘Thor 2’ pics attached from Bourne woods, UK. Compact camera is a bit crap and security won’t let me get much closer but they’re OK. Filming due to start in 2 weeks. Will send some more before then,” the man who took the pictures told SuperHeroHype.
In a recent interview, Tom Hiddleston teased that “Thor: The Dark World” will take us to some pretty amazing places.
“I don’t want to give too much away. But I can guarantee that you won’t be disappointed,” he teased. “Alan Taylor’s vision of ‘Thor 2’ is utterly brilliant. The journey continues in the most epic dimension and proportion imaginable. It’s very, very exciting.”
“Thor: The Dark World” is due in theaters on November 8, 2013. It stars Chris Hemsworth, Hiddleston, Christopher Eccleston, Kat Dennings, Natalie Portman, Anthony Hopkins, Zachary Levi, Alice Krige, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje and Idris Elba. The film will follow the plot line of Thor’s confrontation with Malekith the Accursed and the Dark Elves of Svartalfheim made popular by the comic books.
