As you may have heard, “Arrested Development”, one of our favorite television shows ever is getting yanked out of permanent hiatus, dusted off, and returning to first the small screen and then to the silver screen. That’s right, the long anticipated, dreamed for, sighed over “Arrested Development” movie may finally actually probably be happening. At The New Yorker Festival last week, series creator Mitchell Hurwitz dropped some big news that an actual movie actually happening, because there’s always money in the banana stand, right? Even more interesting, Hurwitz hopes to film additional television episodes and the movie next summer with releases planned for 2013. While there are hurdles to jump, we’re just putting on our fangirl hats, crossing our fingers, and celebrating.
You probably noticed (since we air the show all the damn time), the show was never on hiatus in our hearts, so to help celebrate this * fingers crossed* momentous occasion, we are airing back-to-back-to-back episodes of the Bluth family’s adventures on Sunday beginning at 11:45 a.m. ET/10:45 CT.
So tune in and make some magic happen. Like GOB:
